চন্দন রায় ও তার আত্মীয় নিত্যম রায় কাজের সূত্রে করমন্ডল এক্সপ্রেস করে কেরালাতে যাচ্ছিলো। রওনা দেওয়ার সময় ফোন করে বলেছিলো আমরা রওনা দিয়েছি। তারপর আমরা যখন খবর শুনতে পাই যে করমন্ডল ট্রেনটি এক্সিডেন্ট হয়েছে। তখন চন্দনকে ফোন করলে তার ফোন বন্ধ বলছে। তারপর নিত্যম কে ফোন করলে হিন্দিভাষী একজন ফোন ধরে বলে আপনি যাকে ফোন করেছেন সে বেঁচে নেই। তার পকেট থেকে আমরা ফোনটা পেয়েছি।
